Question
who is the boxer that lives in halls with the nickname dynamite hes a black guy that owns a dump truck buisness he held a title sometime in the 80s

Answer
Shane,

His nickname was "The BT Express". Bernard Taylor.

He was the number 1 contender for a few years. He won the USBA title knocking out Calvin Grove on ESPN. He fought for 3 world titles.

He went 15 rounds with Eusebio Padrosa and got a draw. Fought Barry Mcguigan in Ireland and retired due to dehydration (he was ahead on all the scorecards). He fought John John Malina for the last attempt but was stopped in the 8th round.

He may have the greatest amateur record in the history of amateur boxing. He had over 400 wins with 8 losses. He won every amateur title in the world including the Pan American games, the only 4 time national golden gloves winner and was a gold medal favorite in the 1980 olympics but the U.S. boycotted that year.

Al Bernstein called him the best pound for pound boxer he'd ever seen.

He is great guy and very well respected in the boxing community.

Thanks for the question
