Question
For a boxer, what type of training would be best to increase stamina? When a boxer gets hit during a fight and dazes off, is there a way to quickly recover from that? and is there anything in the training that can prevent that?

Answer
Ericka,

There is nothing better for stamina than running. You need to combine distance with sprints.

Taking a punch is something you are born with. There are different medical factors that make you more or less susceptible to a punch to the face.

The only thing you can do to limit the effect a punch has on you is to do neck exercises. The stronger your neck is the less your head will snap when you get hit and will usually limit how much your brain bounces around in your head.

good luck
