Question
I would like to know how to sign up an be aan amateur boxer. I have been training and would like to try my hands in the ring. I don't know where to start or who to contact. Any information you have would be very helpful.

Hi Bobby - you'll need to register with USA Boxing in your area and have a registered and certified coach work your corner in competitions.  Please email me at mel@amateurboxing.com and tell me the city and state you live in and I'll send you a contact.

I am not a coach. 8-) 21 years as an amateur boxing official; certified computer scoring technician; have worked on many tournament administration staffs; have coordinated a major national invitational tournament; have served as secretary, treasurer and Junior Olympic Chairman at the local level.
