Boxing/Training young fighter

Question
How would you go about training younger fighters, when it comes to conditioning? By age I mean around 8.

Answer
Juan,

Actually you don't even bother with conditioning for those ages. They only fight one minute rounds and they are physically not matured enough for a safe conditioning program.
The normal workout their doing in the gym with heavybag, hand pads etc etc is plenty. The main thing to focus on at that age is discipline and good sportsmanship. If you can get them to go out in the fight and throw straight punches, use a couple combinations and be somewhat composed, you are doing a great job.
I wouldn't introduce much conditioning until around 12 or 13 when their bodies are at a stage that can handle the demands of the sport.

good luck
