Question
hello Jackson Eddie here, i was hoping to get your advise on a pre fight or competition meal , diet at the moment consists of porrage and brown rice etc and no pro making weight, many thanks

Answer
Eddie,

You will be fighting on the meal you ate the night before. So let's start with the dinner from the previous night.

You need dominantly a carbohydrate meal. A pasta-chicken combination with a baked potato. No carbonated drinks, no tea, no coffee. Water or gatorade.

The next morning a couple of bowls of cereal will do. Some orange juice.
Nothing heavy.

For lunch a small turkey sandwich and a salad with light dressing. Water and gatorade again.

No chocolate or anything other heavy foods the day of the fight. These things usually make you want to take a dump a few hours later.

You do not want to have to take a dump a few minutes before the fight starts or after the fight starts nor do you want anything in your belly undigested. So no food 2 hours before the fight. Just water and gatorade.

Drink water the day before between meals and water all day of the fight.

Good luck.
