far.can  u give me a daily routine that i can do at home
that will help me be a better boxer. like how many miles to
run, how many sit ups to do, push ups, and other home work
outs. i have weights,a punching bag. jump rope.weighted and
non weighted gloves.i just need a daily routine and what 2
do.  Thank You

Answer
If you are over 16 I would get about 2 miles, 3 or 4 days a week.

Do 3 sets of 25 situps...
3 sets of pushups for 30 seconds each..

In front of Mirror for 15 minutes working on your form and combinations..

The main thing you want to do is condition your body and improve your cardiovascular system. This is the best way you can spend your time at home because it is almost always the missing link to an incomplete boxer.

good luck

I have been in the sport of boxing since 1984. I started as a boxer and advanced quickly. I was lucky enough to have some of the best sparring in the country with 3 top ten pros in my very gym. I am fortunate enough to live near one of the better boxing programs in the country. We have cultivated our facility into the largest Amateur Boxing Gym in the country. In the mid 90's I became a trainer for Golden Gloves. I train amateur and pro fighters. I have worked in many corners at USA and Golden Glove tournaments. I have worked corners in pro bouts on HBO and ESPN cards. My friend, boss and coach is the former President of Golden Gloves and I trained under his tutelage.
