Question
Can an athlete (boxer) help a certified coach work the corner during a sanctioned boxing event?  The athlete will not be entering the ring but stay on the floor assisting with the bottle water and bucket.

Answer
At local shows, most LBCS allow any boxer to work as a second, as long as they are currently registered.  At a national tournament, a boxer may work as a second as long as he or she is currently registered, 18 years old or over, and has been certified as a coach.
