Boxing/Slip bag filling

Question
I'm moving and I have to take everything by plane, I just want to weight a little know if I can remove the fill to slip if it is safe bag and then fill it again when I get to my destination, my slip is brand bag and weighs TITLE chain about 12 pounds, 13 pounds (6 to 7 kilos) approximately, nose if it is safe to do that or me and make me forget my new home.
Neither the type of fill, but I imagine may be rice.

Hello Eduardo,

Those bags are normally filled with sand, so as long as you can funnel the sand back into the bag I don't see any problem with dumping the sand out. Check to see if there is a way to empty and refill the sand then you should be good to go. You could just go to an apartment complex or swimming pool with a volleyball court and scoop up some sand in a bag. It doesn't take much, 3 or 4 handfuls should do it.

I am fortunate enough to live near one of the better boxing programs in the country. We have cultivated our facility into the largest Amateur Boxing Gym in the country. In the mid 90's I became a trainer for Golden Gloves. I train amateur and pro fighters. I have worked in many corners at USA and Golden Glove tournaments. I have worked corners in pro bouts on HBO and ESPN cards. My friend, boss and coach is the former President of Golden Gloves and I trained under his tutelage.
