Boxing/Am I too old to boxing?

Question
Hi I have been boxing since I was 20 but I've been doing it just for myself. Three years ago I started to training and decided to fight as amateur and had 4 wins and 1 loss. When I lost 2 years ago I was in deep depression cause I'd  never lost and return to training about year ago and started really well with my training. During the training camp I had been getting tired faster than other people in my gym and then  I was  injured and it took me to recover one month and I didn't fight in Golden Gloves. I have question:  is it the end of me? Cause since then I haven't been training for 4 month and I am in deep depression because of it cause I am going to 26.

Answer
26 is a bit old to start actively competing - but there isn't any reason you shouldn't, if it's your dream.  But the only way you're going to accomplish this is if you train and compete consistently.  Experience makes the difference.  Hopefully, at this time, you are completely well and able to train often.  Good luck.
