Question
Hi my name is Matt Ellsworth, I'm 16 and I'm from Chicora, Pennsylvania.  I boxed for a while at a club but was never registered and was 6-0 but never had a sanctioned bout.  I was wondering if it's possible to get registered independent of a club.
Thank You

Answer
Yes, but you will be announced as "unattached" when you compete.  You will also need a registered and certified coach to work your corner.  Having participated in unsanctioned competitions may bar you from membership in USA Boxing.  Please email me at mel@amateurboxing.com, state your city and state, and I'll email you a contact.
