Question
Hi Lian,
I have a couple of questions. First question; I live in San Antonio Tx, who do I contact to get a pro fighting license and a trainers license? Also, is it possible to get certified in other states to coach amateur are do you have to stay with your LBC.

Answer
Thanks for the question.
For the professional part, you'll need to get in touch with Texas' boxing commission, which I believe is called the  Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation. In all likelihood, you can track down the number and address in your local white pages, since it's a state government agency.

On the amateur piece, you can register as a non-athlete (coach) in any LBC in the country. Your certification level stays with you throughout the US.

I hope this helps, Jim.
Thanks again for writing!

Regards,
Lian
