Hi Alan --- my friends and family were all very impressed with your speed
bag video and book --- including my brother who is a professional drummer!

Anyway, I'd like to buy the best speedbag platform for my house, and also
wonder if you know of one with a "modern" look to it?

So, you brother is also a drummer?  Great. I spent many years playing drums. That is why I see the speed bag as a "Punch Drum" and use the rythmic sound to hit to music.

Not a big choice but they are the only ones I know that are slightly different in appearance. The I-box is a great series and I know several people who really like it for it's solid construction and very little vibration.
