Question
Hello. My name is Mike and I'm 15 years old. I don't have a lot of experience in boxing, I watch it now and then and i read about it. I was wondering what kind of training i should do if i want to go pro. As of rite now, i have a punching bag, bench w/ leg additions, an extra bar, dumbells, a treadmill and lots of weights. Not only would i like to lose some weight in this, but also gain more stamina. i dont have a lot of money to spend, but i do plan on getting a speed ball.

Answer
You may not want to hear this but you should seek a boxing trainer.  You can develop bad habits just doing this on your own.  If you cannot get a trainer then the next best thing is to obtain some videos on how to box.  I offer this on my website www.boxingdoneright.com  There is much to learn to become a pro and if you learn bad habits it will really hurt you.  I would be more than happy to train you if you live in the Tampa area.  You can go to boxinggyms.com to find trainers in your area.

Thanks,

Joe
