Question
Hi

I am have just turned 20, am 6 2" and around 175 pounds, I am reasonably fit, but seriously need to work on it, I have loved boxing since I was tiny, so I've decided to get involved. Am I to tall? some would call me lanky, is that a bad thing in boxing? what age to people normally start boxing? and finally how much am I looking at (money wise) to start from scratch i.e. gym fees, gloves, shoes etc.

I appreciate your help, and apologize for the amount of questions.

Answer
No you are not too tall and it can even be an advantage.  If you go to my website at www.boxingdoneright.com you will see prices for personal boxing instruction and this is pretty much the standard in the industry.  You can also just go to a gym and learn but you probably won't get the one on one instruction.

Thanks,

Joe
