Question
I am having trouble with my hands.  When I train with the speed bag, the skin gets worn off on my joint below the knuckles that are wrapped by the handwraps.  What do most people do with this?    Second question:  I have seen most of the online sources for wraping hands, but i don't feel like my hands are wrapped correctly, at times, i feel my hand collapse inside the glove while training on the heavy bag.  Also, I don't feel like it is enough protection. Can you provide me some instruction/direction?  Thank you very much.

Answer
It sounds like your hands are not wrapped properly and this is the cause of your problem with the speed bag.  I cannot describe handwrapping in writing, but yes you can get videos and picture books on the subject.  Also you can purchase speed bag gloves, this may help.  Contact Ringside.com and you should be able to find them along with hand wrapping tips.

Thanks,

Joe
