Question
Hey im Max i just turned 18 and im just about 5'6 do i have to be taller to be a boxer? is being 5'6 an issue for boxing?

Answer
Well - you definitely don't want to be 5'6" and weigh over 200 pounds!  8-)  It's probably good if you don't weigh more than 152 Lbs., and less, if possible, without starving.  We have 8 year olds who box who are no where close to your height so your 5'6" doesn't present any issue at all!  Just find yourself a good gym and trainer in your area and register with USA Boxing so you can eventually compete.
