Question
I am the great grand-daughter of boxer Jack Moran. I am trying to find out more about him but have hit a road block. I was wondering if you would know about which fights he was in and maybe his ranking?

Answer
Hi Candace - if he was a pro boxer, you can search him on www.boxrec.com.  If he was an amateur (what years?), it's almost impossible to get any info before 1987 as there are no archives.  If you know where he boxed, you can query the city newspapers and see if they have anything in their archives.  More information would be helpful, i.e., amateur or pro; what year's, where (city, state).
