Question
Hi. Would you be able to give me a description of training in boxing for new-comers. Also, how many hours a week i would be training when i first start the sport. Thanks!!

Answer
Your question is somewhat broad.  Depending on your current condition would be what you can handle in a training session and how long your workouts should be.  If you are just starting out and don't know much about the sport I would recommend getting some books or videos on how to box.  I have some videos for sale on my website at www.boxingdoneright.com.  If you have boxed and are in good condition.  You could workout 1 and a half hours 6 days per week with every other day being somewhat light.  You can also seek a local boxing trainer to evaluate yourself.

Thanks,

Joe
