does masturbation effect you in any ways when ur a boxer or an athlete.

Hmmm. I guess the short answer is, Yes - "if your were doing it during a match it would be difficult to defend yourself..."    :-)  (sorry. I couldn't let that one go by)

But the larger issue is probably the relationship of having sex before athletic competition. The "old school" theory was NO sex before competition, and boxers suposedly abstained for weeks before a fight (so they say. But I suspect masturbation played a secret part here...). But the idea of required abstinence before a competition is probably an old wives tale, no doubt created by old wives.
