Question
Hi, again. If weight lifting for boxing is it better to do low or high reps. I dont want to build muscle just to lift i want to perfect it, i also dont want muscle for show. so i want the Tyson kind of punch.
thanks.

Answer
Hi Sultan,   you should stick to high reps and shoot for a lean fast body. The power can be developed from there for any size boxer. But you first have to build that base, which is as much lean body mass as possible. Power comes more from your punching technique than your size because your fighting guys your own size. You want to be the leaner than your opponent(ideally) because this gives you the potential to become more powerful and faster than anybody you might fight. It's a great advantage to have.

good question and best of luck,
