Question
I have a 14 year male who has shown interest in boxing.  I'd like to get him involved in a program where
he can learn the basics.  Where do I go to get this done?

Answer
Hi Joe,

There are many places to learn to box. You can choose videotapes or books, and there is a huge resource for them on the web. Here are a few links:

http://www.ringside.com/store/products.asp?dept=2&pagenumber=2

http://www.boxing1.com/boxing-training.html

or you could enroll him in a boxing club or training site.

Depending on what state you live in, here are a few links:

http://www.ringside.com/links_directory.htm

I suggest you get some experienced help if you are training him of competition.  That is not so important if you are just training him for fun and fitness.

I hope this get you in the right direction and helps answer your questions. Don't hestitate to ask again if you think I can help.

sincerely,
