Question
Hi Joe,
I always see that boxers are fighting 10 or 20 pounds below their normal weight. How do they lose that 10 or 20 pounds in the weeks or days leading up to a fight. Also, does USA BOXING have any rules banning the use of weight loss supplements.
   Thanks As Always

Answer
The weight loss is simple.  A combination of diet, workouts, and dehydration.  I am not that familiar with amateur rules as I work only on the pro level, but the best of my knowledge as long as it is not an illegal drug or steriod, you would probably be fine.

Thanks,

Joe
