Question
I am a 27yr old 168lb amateur boxer and I want to develop a style to where I want be aggressive, but at the same time be an outside defensive fighter. Is there a style I can develop or tapes I can watch of past fighters with similar styles to learn from? My arm reach is 69in and I am 6ft. tall.

Answer
Yes, you can be a very agressive counter puncher.  The fighters that are really good to review are Alexis Aurguello, and Salvador Sanchez both are mostly out of the 1970s.  I am beginning to develop instuction and training videos on my website but I have just begun putting them on.  You can view it at www.boxingdoneright.com  I teach agressive counter punching.

Thanks,

Joe
