Question
Hello I own a Combat Sports Thai Bag. Actually three of them. I have the base on the bottom that is suppose to attach to the bottom of the bags. Because of the bags continuing to Dip down it never attaches to the base right. I have two questions. Do you know or do you sell?

1) anything that would attach to the weighted sand doughnut base to the bag to make it stop swinging

2) any type of hook or spring or swivel or anything that I can use for the top of the bag to reduce movement.

thanks

Answer
Hello Sensei,

I am not real familiar with the full length Thai Bags, for I have not personally trained with them. In my HapKido days we used a lot of low kicks, but had special lowly hung bags for them. Very soft also, if I remember correctly....

I can't really answer question 1, for I have not seen or used the doughnut base you describe.

For Question 2: I would suggest you try this heavy bag spring  http://www.ringside.com/DETAIL.ASPX?ID=24790
from Ringside boxing. I would also suggest some other their other heavybag accessories http://www.ringside.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=2385
that might help.  The "Rocks" can be filled with sandbags and weighted, and perhaps somehow attached to the bottom of your long bags.

I understand that Ringside has opened a new showroom and new website: http://www.combatsports.com/
They also may have some items that can help in your quest, as well as Titleboxing http://store.titleboxing.com/heavy-bags-heavy-bag-accessories.html

You might call them and ask some advice on what you need. they are both great companies and will try their best to help you solve your bag problems.

Good luck and I hope this helps you.

sincerely,
