Question
I've been doing a mixture lifting weights(4-5days/wk), running 2 to 3 miles(3days/wk), and shadow boxing for the past 4 months.   I'm 31 yrs old(5'11). When I started I was 195lbs .  Without using any supplements, all natural mostly fruits/vegetables with very little red meat; now I'm at 160lbs.   I need to get to the pros asap.  I'll run thru some amatuers to get there, no problem. I'm serious.  I need a good trainer/promoter/ direction. I'm in Phoenix, AZ but I'll relocate to make it happen.  I'm ready to knock 'em all out.  All the pro names you know of from middleweight all the way back up to Cruiser.  I know their names and I want to knock em out so bad.  Shut em up before they retire.  PLEASE shed some LIGHT on My Situation.

Answer
Sean,

You sound determined and ready to go. I suggest you get to a golden gloves and start asking around for someone to manage your career. You might also go to some gym websites and ask about managers.
You will have to compile a record to start fighting the big names. Once these guys get to the top ten or five in the world they will only fight guys with big records because thats where the money is. Once you turn pro you can expect to get a max of 8 fights per year. If you do not have an impressive amateur career with at least a national golden glove finish in the top 2, you will have to get at least 25 pro fights before the top guys will even consider fighting you. So once you find a manager he will likely suggest a trainer if he has been around the game. Then your off and running.

best of luck
