QuestionMr. Kahn,
I have your DVD of the speed bag bible and enjoy it very much. In it you mention a series of 4 video tapes that go into greater detail. (I need all the help I can get).
Could you please send me information where I can order the tapes.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Jerry Bowden
AnswerHI Jerry,
The four tape/DVD series is availble from Ringside Boxing:
http://www.ringside.com/DETAIL.ASPX?ID=24713
or through Ambersports.com
http://www.ambersports.com/spbible.htm
and it is available directly from me in vhs or DVD format. You can contact me directly via the website SpeedBagCentral.com at the link below:
http://www.speedbagcentral.com/ssp/contact
Tape 1 = Equipment, Seven basic punches, ( 4 from the front, 3 from behind,or reverse punches.)
Tape 2 = Review tape1 and All Elbow strikes ( 12 elbow strikes, Inward, outward, Downward and 4 parts. )
Tape 3 = Reveiw Tapes1&2, All side punching techniques (6 side punching techniques)
Tape 4 = Review tapes1,2&3. The cover Advance Combinations, mostly from Chapter 10 of the Book "The Speed Bag Bible".
You can use #4 without the book, but the combinations assume you can do a lot of what is on tapes 1,2,3. Tape 4 builds on and expands them all.
the Tape 4 "Advanced Combinations" are NOT covered on my single two hour video
(
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0964182750/ref=pd_bxgy_img_b/002-7546630-583926...). There just was not enough time, so I developed the four tape series to give more time on each "area" of techniques to show more slow motion and sample combinations.
I also have a specialty video/DVD called "Rhythm & Rehab" that focuses on using the speed bag as a rehabilitation activity. Mainly targeted to those in a wheelchair, but the speed bag is easily adaptable to people of any sensory-motor functional ability. It also explains to rehabilitation therapists how the speed bag works and how it can be used in a sports medicine treatment clinic as a super upper body exercise. I created it after my own trek through rehab:

Thanks for your question and I hope this helped.
