Question
I am interested in boxing for weight loss.  I know the basics of boxing (how to stand, how to throw a good punch, and how to make a good fist) but I don't know how to come up with a routine that will work. I don't have time to go to the gym, or the money, I'm a college student. If you could help that would be great. Thanks

Answer
The most important ingredient in weight loss is the way you eat.  First you must go on a diet.  I have a diet for sale on my website at www.boxingdoneright.com if you do not have one.  I do recommend a high protein diet.  Secondly you should do your boxing workout in 3 minute rounds.  Example:

Heavy bag 3 min.  Speed bag 3 min etc.  Do several rounds of each.  If you have the equipment you can skip rope, double end bag plus various exercises such as situps, pushups, dips etc.

Thanks for your question,
