Question
how to you make boxing gloves with house hold material

Answer
Hi Gavin

That is a good question!  I really don't know for I have never really considered it. You could certainly wrap your hands to protect the skin with different materials, and perhaps use some strips of cloth like hand wraps to support the bones and wrists, but high quality boxing gloves have a method to support and protect the thumb, and I don't know how you could do that. Some boxing gloves are called "Thumbless" http://www.balazsboxing.com/cgi-bin/catalog2.cgi?action=page&page=gear|balazs%20...
and offer extra protection for the thumb, which is often jammed when punching.

If at all possible, I would suggest you opt for a pair of high quality training/boxing gloves. In my opinion, They will be much more protective for you than a home made alternative.

But I hope you can find someone who HAS a home made alternative. I just don't know of any.

Good luck and train safely.
