Answer
HI Jake,

In regards to your question, I would like to help you find a good "program" but I am not sure exactly what you mean. If you want a good local gym/boxing program in your area, I can't answer that because I don't know where you live, and I have little knowledge of any boxing gyms/programs outside my local area. So I will give you some suggestions as to training materials that area available. Some are free on the internet, and others are retail videos or books that I think are good.

For some web base training information:

RossBoxing.com

(* one of the best web boxing oriented sites available, compete with training articles, training materials for purchase and a great online Forum. Ross is extremely knowledgeable about boxing/fitness. He has a lot of helpful "In the Gym" training articles along with his own highly recommend training books/manuals. See them at: http://www.rossboxing.com/products.html  )

Irongloves boxing

( * again, many great online articles and video clips, along with a live forum.)

Kenny Weldon is highly regarded within the boxing instruction field, and has been a top coach, boxing educator and has trained many fine amatuer and professional boxers.

I hope this information helps you find what you are looking for. There is a lot of information about boxing available. If you go to a gym seeking a personal trainer, be sure and observe the gym a few times and see how people interact and particularly watch any sparring that goes on. If there is a lot of full blown head shots being allowed, and members walking around with bruised faces, bloody noses etc, you might reconsider that location.

good luck and train safe.

sincerely,
