Question
What is the difference between an 80 # bag and a 100 # bag and what exactly does the weight mean.and also what bag is considered the best canvas or vynel  and what is best to fill it with water or sand.

Answer
Hi Gloria,   thanks for the question....

The difference in the bags is the amount they will move around when your hitting them....you don't want one that doesn't move when you hit it...on the other hand you dont want one that swings all over the place either... something is between is the ticket... for instance, a lightweight boxer should get the 80 and a heavyweight should do the 100 or even higher....
I actually would recommend the leather over both the canvas and the vinyl... they will last much longer and they are not much more expensive....but if you are choosing between the two, definately get the canvas....it is much more durable than the vinyl...always go with sand as well... the water will eventually find its way out an cause a mess....

great question.....Gloria, I am starting a site soley for boxing questions such as the one you just asked.... feel free to drop by and ask away.....  www.fightersdomain.com

later,
