Question
How many punches per second can a pro boxer ,like mayweather, throw? I think i can throw 6 per second but for sure i can throw 5 a second but i'm not a pro so it makes me wonder.

Hi Gil,

In all honesty I don't know. I have never calculated that myself, and I can't find any legitimate research references to it. That is a very good question! The answer might depend on the target also, for it would easier to throw more punches during "shadow boxing", or perhaps on a speed bag than a heavybag, which will take some small amount of time to sink in.
