I recently bought a pair of Ringside's Ultimate Classic bag gloves because I have heard so many good things about their company.  However, after two uses on the heavy bag, the 1 1/2 inch thick glove flattened out to less than and inch around the knuckle area.  Are all bag gloves like that?  Can you recommend any gloves that will not do that.  I was thinking about buying their Ultimate Classic Super Bag gloves which are over 2 inches thick, but I sure would not like it if they thinned out as well.  What is your advice?

Hi Calvin,

I'm Sorry to hear about your glove problem. There is a certain amount of air and "cushion" in padded gloves that may give or compact during use, making the gloves thinner.  I have never heard of this being such a problem as you report, but Ringside is a top quality company, and I imagine that if you contact them they will allow you to return the gloves for a refund or exchange.  There are so many varieties of gloves made by different companies, it would be hard to suggest another one any better.
