Boxing/heavy bag problem

Question
Hello'
Ive been using the heavy bag off and on for the last 5 years for exercise. Ive had an 80lb canvas bag but I got a new 100lb leather bag. The problem I have is my new bag has developed a hard spot on one side of the bag. Let me tell you it sure hurts when you hit it when your not expecting it. Is there any way to fix it? I tried rolling it on the ground, shaking the bag upside down, even hitting the bag with a baseball bat!! Any help would be great.

Answer
The hard spot could be a number of things including weather impaired from humidity.  My suggestion would be to look and see if there is a zipper in the top or bottom and repack your bag by removing the stuffing and placing back in.  Other than that you might want to get a new one.

Thanks,

Joe
