Question
QUESTION: What is the average height of a fighter between 145 and 152 lbs. i'm 5'7"and i always seem to be at least 2 in. shorter.

ANSWER: I don't know that there is any average height, but I would agree you might be a bit short for that weight.  Unless that is your normal weight, without starving, you can try and get to a lower division, say 132.  If you can't do that and still be healthy, work on your boxing skills and especially body shots - don't try and just "head hunt" on a taller boxer.

QUESTION: how much of a disadvantage is being a shorter fighter?

Answer
I think that depends on the skills you acquire.  Again, shorter boxers should learn to throw body shots (combinations of body and head are very effective) to help wear down the opponent.  A good trainer should be able to help you overcome any height disadvantage.
