hello,
I am 16 and i am just doing some work for school really and was wondering what weight gloves a 16 year old boxer would use and how long the round times are . and any rules regarding age 16 and below thanks
Whether or not you wear 10 or 12 oz. gloves depends on how much you weigh - 152 Lbs. and below wear 10 oz. A 16-year-old would box 3-2 minute rounds against a 15 or 16 (or 17 year old at a local show) year old; if you were to box a 14 year old at a local show (as long as you weren't more than 24-months older), you would box 3-1-1/2 minute rounds.
