Boxing/homemade speed bag rebound board

Question
My 13 year old son is a brown belt in karate and is studying Brazilian grappling. He needs work on boxing technique and I want to put up a speed bag. My budget is limited and I believe a quality rebound board could be made. Do you have any ideas?

You COULD make a quality rebound board, but by the time you figure out a way to hang it, and get the swivel and bag, you could invest a lot more than the price of these two units I linked to below. For one person hitting them or medium use, they are fine. I used one for many years. Still have two of them up in my garage.
