Question
im a thrirteen yr old girl that has got a great intrest in boxing and i would like to start and i need to know if there is any boxing clubs in my area and if they have the right age level and if there is how much will it cost me

Answer
HI Megan,

As a 13 year old you would be at a great age to begin boxing training in a legitimate boxing gym with a your program. However without knowing where you live it would be impossible to exactly answer your question as to what gyms may be available and the cost of training.  As far as cost, there is NO standardized costs and they vary widely from location to location. Here is a list of "known" gyms by state.

But I can not attest to how up-to-date it is.  If your family supports your interest, you might go to some local or state amatuer tournaments in your area and meet some boxers and coaches and "network" with them to see what you can find in your area.  You could check some of the links below:

Learn as much as you can about boxing. The tecniques, training and the sport. Knowledge IS power, and the more you understand the better your chances of reaching your dream.

You Go Girl!  Believe in your dream and go for it. But do it with good guidance and coaching.

I hope this helps you...
