Question
i like punching and boxing....presently 39 years old....notice shoulder discomfort more and more when im not exercising...any tips?

Answer
If the pain is "minor" and not seriously interfering with your arm movement, do some range of motion activities but don't strain it. Let it rest of about a month to make sure you don't make it chronic.

If it is really limiting your arm motion and hurts a lot all time, waking you up at night or hurting a lot even when you are not exercising, Stop using it and seek medical attention.

It is better to miss a few upper body workouts than make your condition worse.

Good luck and I hope it gets better.

sincerely,
