Question
I have an old everlast speed bag 4214 that I bought from a
garage sale.  It was hardly used and in good condition, but in an old
looking box.  I've used it for several
years, and now it leaks air.  Is there any way to try to fix the
inner tube, or do I just need to get a new one?

If it is leaking air you will have to untie the bag and get to the bladder inside.  with the bag peeled down, try and blow it up and find the leak.  IF the leak is in a flat part of the rubber ( probably not) you can fix it with a rubber flat fixing kit.  IF the leak is on the SEAM of the bag ( probably is..) you will have to change it.  IF the leak is from the Air Nozzle ( very likely also) you will have to change it.

Fortunately, since the bag is alreay open and pealed back, changing it is not that big of a deal.

Finally, Chad. this Bag Seems to be slower than other bags of the same size. The Everlast 4201 with Kidskin leather is a much better bag of the same size, but is more expensive.I also like the title bag, http://store.titleboxing.com/titlespeedbags1.html
