Question
how would i make a speed bag. what should go inside and what should i fasten it to??

Answer
Hi Gren,

I have used "store bought" speed bags all of my career, and never considered making one. The ones I have used and taken apart are fairly complicated, with 5 panels of leather stitched together in a smooth fit, along with an air bladder fitted inside. The air bladders are made of plastic or rubber and also appear fairly "high tech" for the average person to make.

I personally would have no idea how to go about making one of these personally and for as little As $19.95 you can purchase a high quality bag. Where the leather is made, or purchased or patterns cut for making speed bags, - and how and where the bladders are made etc - as far as I know that is all done overseas now. I am sorry, but I can't really offer an solid advice to you on how to "make your own", for I wouldn't know how to go about that.

Sorry I couldn't help you further.

sincerely,
