QUESTION: i am 17 6ft 1 and weight 13 stone.how long will it take to learn how to box.can you give me a training programme.am i too old to start.

ANSWER: You need to learn the fundamentals first before going into a training program.  You will always learn no matter how long you box but to learn the basics and learn to defend yourself probably about 6 months.  You can go to my website at www.boxingdoneright.com I do offer video training sessions on the site and am continuing to add more each week.

QUESTION: i am 13 stone as i said and want to lose excess body fat.whats the best way of going about this?
thank for the last answer.

Answer
The best way to lose excess body fat is a high protein diet that restricts excessive carbohydrates such as starches and sugars and instead concentrates on high protein such as meats, soy, and egg type proteins.  All this with a solid exercise routine should lose excessive bodyfat.  You can go to my website at www.boxingdoneright.com  I sell a diet on this site if you like, but there are many great diets on the market today such as the Atkins diet.

Thanks,

Joe
