Hi Ed,

the Speed Bag Bible is on "video / DVD" in several "formats", or lengths.

First, there is a single "Comprehensive Speed Bag Training" Video, which is the "quick" version. It covers all areas of speed bag training, (hitting from the front, the back, linking [ joining areas - or passing hands through the bag from front to back, ] Elbow strikes, and Side Punching techniques. This is a two hour tape covering 24 individual techniques. It has several slow motion segments and also a demo of hitting to music at the end.   It costs $24.95, or The  Book + 2-hr. Video for $39.95 + P&H.

The second "version" is a Four (4) VIDEO SERIES.  Much more detail, and longer slow motion segments, where each tape covers a certain area of the bag,

Tape 1 - equipment, General hitting. Covers four tech from front, of bag, three from the back of the bag (reverse techniques)  and   linking   (passing fists through)

Tape 2 - Elbow striking ( All twelve elbow techniques and how to use with earlier techniques )

Tape 3 - Side striking Techinques. (six techniques from the side of bag and how to use with earlier tech.)

Tape 4 -  Advanced combinations. Ways to break the rules of rhythm and create unknow combinations all around the bag.

Each "series"   Video begins with a quick review of all previous tapes and techniques, so each could be the first one seen and you would not be completely lost to terminology and how the techniques are created and joined in combinations.  Remember, I hit with both fist and elbows (4 surfaces) in mixed and varied ways from all four areas (front back and sides).  There is a lot more that can be done than ever imagined, and this is MUCH MORE than a simple boxing workout using only 2 punching techniques from the front of the bag.  Each tape has slow motion and music demonstrations, along with inside tips on how to make things a little easier. All tapes have offered practice exercises and the best ways to practice certain things.  these are also outlined in the book. I did the book because you usually don't have a VCR right next to your speed bag.  And it is WAY too complicated at first to remember...  you will understand that statement when you see a short demonstration of someone hitting full bore on an 8x5 laser fast speed bag with fists and elbows, non-stop to music.  The book allows one to simply review the information, and the written practice exercises, right under the board. Punch for punch, elbow-to-elbow, -  they are written out.

I also have another video/DVD called "Rhythm & Rehab" which features many of the speed bag techniques as a rehabilitation activity. This tape is meant for either people in a rehabilitation setting, those who have some type of medical / physical condition that may be disabling ( paraplegia, parkinsons, cerebral palsy, etc.) and shows how the speed bag can be used to help them, AND it also teaches rehab. therapists about speed bag equipment, how it works and how the act of hitting the speed bag can be used in their treatment programs. this is $24.95+$6.00  P&H. in either VHS or DVD format. this video is only available from me at the moment.
