Question
I wanted to know if you knew if all boxing gyms had to pass health inspections

Answer
Hi Munirah,

I'm not aware of a "boxing" gym needing to pass any inspection that any other gym would need to pass to obtain a  business license and operate.

If a facility has restrooms, showers and equipment that makes regular contact with bodily fluids from multiple patrons (sweat, blood, saliva, etc.), like any gym, I'm sure there are codes and regulations that must be followed.
You'll want to check the codes in your city and/or state to see what those specific codes are; they can vary from place to place.

I hope this helps, Munirah.

Thanks for writing!

Regards,
Lian
