Question
Im a devoted fan of many many years, and know most trivia one could ask, however Im curious about the actual set.  I know there are drawings of blueprints of the house, but do you know how the actual set was laid out.  It looks like the downstairs is put together just like a house, but the scenes in Mikes den, do you know if they had a separate mini-set for those scenes, or would you think they actually have the den set up where it is supposed to be located.  Also, dont you wonder where it actually leads when they walk to the top of the stairs, and appear to go down the hall?  Might sound weird, but those things interest me.  Would love it if they came out with an actual model of the house.

Answer
Eric,
That is a fascinating question/observation.  The house/set is anactual house.  David Brady (no relation to the show), has done extensive research on this subject and is still in the process of writing his "Encyclopedia Brady".  You can go to http://davidbrady.com/times/latbrady.html  for a great article about the "Brady House".  Let me know if you need more information and I will try to help you out or give you my observations.
