Question
hi chris...

i always got a kick out of the 1971 episode "will the real jan brady please stand up",
where bobby and greg are keeping a secret from
peter (about a girl being at some silly birthday
party).

in that episode, peter throws bobby down on the bed and tickles the info out of him (bobby appears to be real ticklish and gives up easily).

question: do you think actor michael lookinland was really ticklish, or just play-acting? Was chris knight really tickling him, or just pretending too?

also, greg was just standing there, watching peter force the info out of bobby; why didn't greg help bobby, or at least
pull peter off of him? after all, greg wanted to
keep the secret from peter also.

i know the questions sound dumb, but i was always curious!

thanks.

Answer
Hi Frank
Interesting question.  I think Bobby was really ticklish and Peter was really tickling him.  I really don't think Greg cared one way or another about the "secret".  The fact that Margie Wipple was going to be at the party was really funny, considering she had been chasing Peter in school.  I think the fact that Greg didn't help his brother leads me to believe that he wanted Bobby to tell Peter so they could all make fun of him.  I think deep down, Bobby wanted to spill his guts and coudn't wait to tell the secret to Peter.  Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Chris
