dear michael, my question is about when filming of a particular episode began. For example episode 2 (dear libby) went to air in the united states oct 03 1969, but my question is when do you think they actually filmed that episode before it went to air. look forward to hearing from you. david

Davi- I am not sure how far in advance the show filmed their episodes. I think it is safe to say that like other shows both then and now they would start shooting a month or two ahead and film more than one a day. I do know that the pilot episode (The wedding) was shot a year prior to showing. If you see it you will see how young the kids look.I hope this helped
