Question
i Have recently been diagnosed with a grade 3 malignant astrocytoma tumor. the docotr said it was small enough to operate on but with it being so far along it was likely that the cancerous cells would return. i asked my life expectancy and was given a shocking number........between 6-50 months. what can i do to prolong my survival fighting this horrible disease? i am going for a second and third opinion soon but this is begining to get very expensive and my symptoms are getting worse by the day . today i woke up with double vision and a headache like no other with severe nausea and my vertigo has been off. please help me with some answers.

Answer
The only way to increase your survival time is by a combination of surgery, radiation therapy & chemotherapy. The risk of a tumor return will at present remain though unfortunately. Because at present no sure cure is available. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
