Question
my mother, 68 years old, had carcinoma cancer removed from her nose and eye area in spring of 07 in oct she had found some knots on her jawline and throat area, had surgery and radiation and made it through that ok, now 3 weeks later she now has 3 neuroendoctrine brain tumors. they say they can not operate or use chemo. She is taking 20 radiation treatments. i am confused because one day they say your mother has 2 months to live, today they said she has a good chance of beating this, so what are the facts?
Can she survive with these tumors?

Answer
Unfortunately I think that it is more probable that the first prediction is correct. Only time will tell. Do we have a pathology report of the tumors in her brain? If all her tumors are connected I'm unfortunately rather sure that the first prediction is correct.
