Question
Hello, a member of my family as recently been diagnosed with Chronic microvascular ischemic disease , they told us it's the brain that ages quicker than normal...is this right? He as been falling everywhere and cant get up he even had to go to the hospital to get stiches, he's laughing for nothing ang then cries, in the last year his mental state has change a lot . Can you give me more info about this disease? Where can i find information? does it have a cure ? Thank you , Sylvie

Answer
I'm strictly a tumor dr. here since I'm not a neurologist or a neurosurgeon but a medical oncologist & radiation therapist with experience of treating brain tumors. So your question is completely outside my area of expertise here. I therefore strongly suggest that you discuss this case with a neurologist.
