Question
my sister (54yr)was just diagnosed with stage 4 - prepping to start chemo - please tell me what I should expect as far as her symptoms stages (behavior)? she has a severally handicap 23yr old bedridden daughter with approx 13 different diagnosis (on machines - has a track diverson)that has lived long only because of my sister's care. I need to know we sisters insist to step in to assist her since she won't be well enough to tend to her daughter.  Because she will keep telling us she's ok and literally crawl out of bed to help care of her daughter. She is the youngest and truly believes she will outlive us all.

Answer
She most probably has a glioblastoma multiforme GRADE 4. Right? Since brain tumors very rarely have stages. Unfortunately that kind of tumor has a very bad prognosis. I expect her survival time after full treatment to be around one year. But part of that time she will NOT be able to care for her daughter. Unfortunately I can not be more precise. But you will have to start planning to find other solutions already now. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
